Results of Survey on the Financial Literacy of Australian Directors
As part of the FRC's 2011-14 Strategic Plan, the Board Education Task Force was established to consider the issue of board understanding of financial reporting.
The Task Force conducted a survey of directors and financial reporting professionals, working with them to identify if there are any issues in terms on the financial literacy of directors and, if so, how to address them.
On 5 September 2012, the Task Force released the results of the survey. Survey results are accessible at the below PDF or Powerpoint links. The HTML version will be available shortly.
