Bulletin 2010/5 – 16 December 2010
The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) held a meeting in Melbourne on 2 December 2010. The principal matters dealt with at the meeting included the use of International Public Sector Accounting Standards in Australia, update on issues arising from the May strategy meeting, other strategic matters (including the future strategy of the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation and the European Commission Green Paper on auditing) and reports on the activities of international bodies.

The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) today announced the new appointments and reappointments of members to the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) and the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AUASB).

The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) held a meeting in Sydney on 21 September 2010.  The principal matters dealt with at the meeting were a number of papers relating to the FRC’s strategic priorities, reports from stakeholder bodies, briefings on recent international developments and a range of strategic issues concerning Australia’s financial reporting framework.
Bulletin 2010/2 – 7 June 2010
The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) held a meeting in Melbourne on 18 May 2010.  The focus of the meeting was a planning discussion about the activities to be undertaken by the Council in 2010-11.   Other matters dealt with at the meeting included consideration of reports from stakeholder bodies and a status report on progress with the differential reporting reform proposals.
