The Chairman of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), Mr Charles Macek, today announced that Savage & Partners had been engaged to provide media consultancy services to assist with lifting the public profile of the FRC, in conjunction with the forthcoming release of two reports.
In accordance with legislative requirements imposed under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001, the FRC must forward its annual report for 2005-06, and its report on its auditor independence functions for 2005-06, to the Minister by 31 October 2006.
